2 Years and Getting Stronger…
July 08, 2006, it’s been two years now, and even though we encountered struggles, misunderstandings and obstacles on the way, I could say our relationship is getting stronger.
Here are some facts regarding day of marriage (ceremony), and I am not ashamed of it:
* My wife was 6 months pregnant when we were married (unplanned marriage for us, but God planned it…
* We have very limited budget, therefore we have to borrow from someone…
* we lack preparation (one month only) for the ceremony…
* since we lack preparation, I am the wedding coordinator of the ceremony…
* we bought low cost dress for me (but my wife’s gown is not, it’s custom made)…
* we bought low cost silver wedding ring (can’t afford gold)…
* the ceremony was held in a covered open air basketball court….
* it rained (short hard rain) right after the wedding ceremony (just before the reception)…
* we went and stayed at my wife’s
They say that no relationship is perfect… well, I’ll say that God can make a lot of difference with marriage.
We had disagreements, I one packed my things and almost left because of a disagreement we had.
Lately, we realized one of our mistakes, we don’t have prayer time. So we devoted some time (each night before I leave for work) to pray.
We’ll be celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary today (Manila Time) with technically no money at hand (there’s a lot of expenses this month). But in the course of our marriage, we’ve learned to trust God.
Our son is 1 year and 9 months old now, and we’re praying that he’ll be good and have holy fear for God.
I Love my wife, April. I love my son, Obi
And I thank God for blessing our family for 2 years (and the years to come)..
SOLI DEO GLORIA…

Congratulations!
I love being married–it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. I hope many more wonderful years for you and April and your children!
God bless my friend.

Congratulations on the anniversary. You may have had an inauspicious beginnging, but never despise the day of small things.
